*Vegan Store*

Our 90 square metre store is filled with products ranging from vegan food to cosmetics, textiles and literature.

Just one of many special details of the store is its offer in unpackaged foods - rice, lentils, oats and alike are available out of so called gravity bins, dried fruit and nuts can be taken out of scoop bins - the visitor decides how much she wants to take from it.

The store is located in the picturesque Rixdorf (part of the Berlin district of “Neukölln”) between Richardplatz and Karl-Marx-Platz.

*Collective*

Currently we are a group of eleven people who strive to operate a vegan natural food store under a collectively self-organised structure.

First, for us, being a self-organised workers’ collective means consciously avoiding formal hierarchies (no bosses, employees or temporary workers), and that we all work for the same pay.
Second, we do not see the store as our property. Rather we see ourselves more as managers of the store – as part of the broader vegan community of Berlin.
Therefore, we have two goals: in addition to the creation of jobs for the members of the collective, we want to offer a wide range of vegan foods at reasonable prices.

We are aware that these aims will not be easy to achieve but we will try hard to fulfil our goals!
